What Is EEOICPA?

The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) is a federal program designed to support the men and women who worked in the nuclear industry and were exposed to radiation or other hazardous materials. Many of these individuals served our country without knowing the long-term health risks they faced.

Through EEOICPA, eligible workers and their families may receive financial compensation of up to $400,000, as well as full medical coverage for approved conditions. These benefits exist to help ease the burden of illness, provide ongoing support, and ensure access to necessary care.

Who Qualifies?
